Message from Our Principal

Welcome to a new school year!

We are very excited and proud of our students' progress and accomplishments last year.  You will be seeing some changes to our campus and a lot of new beautiful faces.

We have a new canopy located in our drop off area. This will provide shade and protection from the elements while our students are waiting to be picked up. We would like to thank GISD for making this possible.

Maintaining a "safe and positive" instructional environment is one of our priorities.  For safety reasons, we will continue with the following rules/procedures:

  • As per our Superintendent Mr. Yturralde, all doors must remain locked throughout the day.
  • All visitors must stop at the office.
  • Parents may conference with their child's teacher during the teacher's conference period or scheduled appointments.
  • Parents will be allowed to walk their child to class for the first week of school- after the first week students will be dropped off in the cafeteria or foyer.  Instructional Assistants will be available to assist adults in the building.
Thank you for supporting us and following our procedures.  Our objective is to keep adult traffic to a minimum for the safety of our children.

"With your help- we will make Great things happen!"
